Return to the time of stagecoach travel and visit a community built out of the Wisconsin wilderness by Yankee pioneers and European immigrants. See a real stagecoach on a plank road. Take a horse-drawn wagon ride to tour the 27-room Wade House Stagecoach Inn in Greenbush. Visit the brand new Visitor Center, which houses the Wesley Jung Carriage Museum, Butternut Cafe, and Gift Shop/Book Store.
Just a short distance away is Lake Elkhart and Siebkens Resort where you will enjoy lunch in its historic Tavern. The Resort has been in the Siebkens family for more than four generations. You will have a choice of Siebkens sandwich on homemade rye, potato salad, gourmet cheese curds, dessert, and beverage. Organized and hosted by Charlene & Oswald Lettrari, Sunflower Journeys.
